Trainee Veterinary Nurse

Emily’s love for animals started at a young age, growing up on a cattle station in Duaringa with her two older brothers. Her family later moved to Rockhampton before she started high school, and after graduating, she made the move to Yeppoon in 2020.

Emily joined our QVCC team in November 2022 and quickly enrolled in her Certificate II in Animal Care after realising the veterinary industry was the perfect fit for her. She has been expanding her interest in puppies and canine behaviour by teaching Puppy Preschool classes, and she is a natural! Emily is an absolute all-rounder and jumps straight into every role we throw at her; the veterinary industry is lucky to have her. She is now completing her Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing and is looking forward to becoming a qualified Veterinary Nurse.

Outside of work, you can find Emily enjoying cocktails with her girlfriends and taking sunset walks with her adopted dog, Walter.
