THE 4-WEEK CURRICULUM: SKILLS AND HEALTH EDUCATION
Our comprehensive program is delivered over four structured, informative, and fun weekly sessions, covering both essential obedience skills and critical health topics.
Week-by-Week Structure
Socialisation & Focus
Week one introduces puppies to safe, supervised play during their critical socialisation period. We also begin basic training by teaching puppies to sit and encouraging them to focus on their owners.
Preparing for Outings
In week two, we continue developing your puppy’s training by introducing recall, stay, and the foundations of polite lead walking. These skills help build focus, confidence, and good manners for everyday life.
Settling & Safe Spaces
In week three, we introduce crate training and show owners how to create a safe, comfortable space where their puppy can relax and feel secure. Puppies will also learn important skills such as drop and place, to encourage calm behaviour and good household manners.
Life Skills & Graduation
In week four, we focus on practical strategies to prevent and manage undesirable behaviours in puppies. We finish the program by celebrating your puppy’s achievements with a Puppy Preschool graduation.
Essential Life Skills Covered
Our practical training ensures your puppy develops into a polite and well-mannered family member:
- Recall: Teaching your puppy to "Come" when called.
- Focus: Learning to "Look on Cue" to divert attention from distractions.
- Handling: Gently preparing your puppy for necessary handling like paw checks, ear cleans, and medication administration.
- Troubleshooting: Expert guidance on addressing common challenges such as crying at night or separation anxiety.

Who Should Attend
Puppies who have had at least their first C3/C5 vaccination and are within the 8-16 week socialisation window.
