Fleas are a pesky parasite that can make our dogs and cats miserable and uncomfortable. They can cause constant scratching and itching which in turn can lead to skin conditions and infections. Some pets can also have Flea Allergy Dermatitis which is a sensitivity to the fleas saliva. Just one bite can cause intense irritation and itching that can last long after the flea has gone. Fleas also carry tapeworms that can infest your dog and cat. 

Flea infestations can rapidly get out of control. The adult female flea lays large numbers of eggs in her lifetime. Flea eggs can be burrowed into carpets, pet bedding and the environment. Here they can lie dormant for weeks, even months waiting for the right conditions before hatching and infesting your pet and you!
